The Star set out to draw a manga page in real time: banded light, hatching and pen outlines drawn on the GPU so every frame reads as printed ink. Time is the interaction. One world clock stops, rewinds and races, and the knives, glass, sea and sky all run on it. At the end, two distance fields morph inside a ray-marched slab, and the Joestar star is cut into the Exe.Eyes mark.
